First Day Report!

Three people showed up to play yesterday, and what happened in the game?

A Dragonborn Paladin named Shiro, a Metalborn Fighter names Uldok and a Razorclaw Shifter Seeker named Kotaro all met on the battlefield in the battle of Elsse. The battle seemed at a loss until these three warriors showed up. Uldok wasted no time getting to the front, sending out orders to his fellow comrades. Shiro hid himself behind a rock at Uldoks order to keep the enemy from knowing he's there, sending Kotaro on top of a rock for a better ranged attack. Once Uldok was in full fling of the battle, Shiro was sent out to a distracted target, along with Kotaro's pet. Through the strategic commands of Uldok, they were able to drive back the forces of E'Lod, forcing Eiod to make a full retreat. They did not celebrate their victory for long, because after looting the bodies for the gold, which they divided some 40gp amongst themselves, they were summoned by the king of Elsse. Going into town, they decided to hit the market, where they found the Dagger of Sehanine, which they sold in exchange for a Honed Sword of Bleeding (every hit causes the target to bleed for 3 turns). They showed up at a strange general store along their time of shopping and gained access to the underground portion of the store where they met an old man. This old man brought them through a series of tunnels into a narcotics room. Standing behind the counter, they began to question him, but he only trusted Shiro of them all. Shiro was brought to a back room and shown a Blue and Red armor lined with Silver and was told to pay 500gp or test some new products to get the armor, which he chose to test products. Bringing all three of them in the back, he strapped Shiro and Kotaro to chairs. Using a needle and sack, he pumped chemicals into Shiro, causing him to convulse, and forced Kotaro to smoke something which caused him to feel intense heat and euphoria. After it wore off, he released Kotaro and then placed a ball of herbs into Shiro's mouth, forcing him to swallow, and this caused him to see things and feel paranoid. Uldok slapped him because of what Shiro is putting them all through, and Shiro felt as though his face was pushed to the side. After it wore off, Shiro passed out, and they were all laid in a cage until morning when they were released. Sadly, Shiro finds out the armor was pained chainmail armor. He sold it and they continued to the castle where they ate with the queen. After dining on fine food, they went to the royal garden to meet with the king who gave them new items; An Elderwood Axe to Uldok, an Elderwood Shield to Shiro and an Elderwood Bow to Kotaro. As they were about to leave, they were asked to go to the Fhalik Mountains to talk to the Dwarves to get them to join his cause to defeat the E'Lod. What will happen next? Find out next week.

"War of Ologh" Campaign

This is the first campaign that the group will be playing starting this summer (most likely 6.21.2014, but will make sure this day is a fine start for the others). It starts off with a battle between a stronghold of Orcs, Half-Orcs, Humans and Trolls against a city of Elsse, whose inhabitants include Elves, Half-Elves and Humans (along with the adventurers of this campaign). The main villain of the campaign is Eiod, the Half-Orc leader of the stronghold. He is a servant of Ologh, the demon god of Revenge, Deception and Destruction. He gained his help to take revenge on a group of thieves who are in the city of Elsse who had killed his father, raped and murdered his mother, and then raped all five of his sisters, all in front of him. They were illegally sold into slavery in Elsse. Eiod sees the whole city as guilty and wants to destroy it and get his sisters with Ologh's help. Though does Ologh have ulterior motives? We shall see...

D&D Gaming

This is my DM blog. This is my first time being the DM of a game, and I love the story building involved. I'm not your typical DM, I don't focus on combat most, but I still put combat in everything that goes on. Every game will have combat, and this blog will tell you everything that goes on in every campaign. I hope that this will give other DM's ideas and PC's new strategies :D Enjoy!
